Cisneros Media Distribution (CMD) today announced the debut of Cisneros Studios’ original production “Ruta 35, La Válvula de Escape” [Route 35, The Escape Valve] on blim, Televisa’s Streaming Video-on-Demand (SVOD) service recently launched throughout Latin America. blim is also available across iOS and Android devices including Sony Android TV, and will soon be streaming on Smart TVs, XBox, PlayStation, and Apple TV.

The super series, starring Danna Garcia, Miguel Rodarte, and Julio Bracho, also made its debut recently on Televisa’s premium Pay TV channel, Golden Premier, where it currently airs in Mexico (7 PM), Costa Rica (6 PM), Venezuela (7:30 PM), and Argentina (9 PM). Its availability on blim offers its viewers the ability to watch “Ruta 35” whenever and wherever they desire.
“Ruta 35” is the story of a federal agent, Dylan Wilkins, and the criminals he recruits to assist him in his relentless pursuit of drug lords and other wanted felons. These criminals become undercover informants for ICE and for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in exchange for reducing their charges and avoiding prosecutions.
However, Wilkins’ informants are not your typical criminals - he introduces an array of men and women who, all driven by different motives such as fear and revenge, risk their lives everyday on a dark and risky mission. Among his informants are a 75-year-old grandmother who transports drugs; an IT engineer who has close ties and unparalleled access to a Mexican cartel - a ‘professional’ informant who has been living a perilous double life for years; and the cousin of a ruthless mafia king, thirsty for the reward over her cousin’s head. All together, these sources provide Wilkins insight into the complex activities of brutal crime organizations and their cold-blooded leaders, who will stop at nothing in their quest for wealth and power.
